Sorry for Neglecting You

I am back in the land of work, busy ridding Great Bend, KS of appendixes, gallbladders and uteruses (or uterii). This is what I did for 20 yrs. before I moved onboard a boat. And no it is not just like riding a freakin' bike. Anyway, I'm ready for a little comic relief too, so when I quit having nightmares about dropping the baby during a C-section I'll be back blogging.

I wanted to thank you guys so much for your generous donation to the families in need here in Chelem. Take care of a lot of patients, get over the nightmares and come on down and relax!

No thanks necessary, it's going to be our new home. Thank you for coordinating the donations. We are counting the days 'til we share a drink with you guys. Your place or ours or the Bullpen or all three?

Hey guys! Thanks for reading the blog. I never really dropped a baby. I swear I don't drink on the job. Just pray to Jesus, I never have to perform an emergency C-section at the Bull Pen. We are back home and recovering from our visit and making all those empty promises to behave next time. We did pull a cruel joke on the Recovery Room nurses one time after operating on a baby. I walked into the Recovery Room carrying the baby swaddled in its blanket and stumbled and threw the baby into the air. Only it was a dummy baby. You should have seen their faces!
